Bellcorp are engaged by TAFE NSW for the upgrade of the Thurgoona National Environmental Centre, including new areas and fire safety provisions. Works include the refurbishment of existing learning areas to provide a multi-function digitally enabled learning environment. The second phase of the project involved the redevelopment of a multi-use learning area on a satellite site requiring infrastructure upgrades, bushfire management, and access compliance upgrades.
The classroom stage of the project has now successfully been complete. This stage of the Thurgoona National Environmental Centre included vital infrastructure upgrades and enhancements to surrounding assets, all designed to foster an enriched learning environment for students and the wider community. This project overcame numerous challenges, including the navigation of a high bushfire risk rated area, and ecologically significant land.
Located near Albury, this project forms an important step for the regional town of Thurgoona, playing a key role in building a stronger community, and shaping a modern, functional, and inspiring space for future generations.
